The 2018-2019 Regular Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) benefit opens November 13, 2018.
The Home Energy Assistance Program helps low-income people pay the cost of heating their homes.
If you are eligible, you may receive one regular HEAP benefit per program year and could also be eligible for emergency HEAP benefits if you are in danger of running out of fuel or having your utility service shut off.
Questions regarding the HEAP program should be directed to your HEAP Local District Contact.
KoscoHeritage supports HEAP through the United Way of Ulster County because they know that all of the donations stay local. “We can be sure that every dollar is helping neighbors in need”, explained Barry Motzkin, General Manager.
